Engagement Center visitors “step inside” the redesigned Tom Lee Park

Last weekend, Memphians had their first chance to see the plans for the new Tom Lee Park. Hundreds of visitors, including Mayor Strickland and Tom Lee’s descendants, visited to explore a scale model, see renderings, and try out the visual reality goggles. The reimagined riverfront designs are already gaining national attention and putting Memphis on the map!

Read about the new Engagement Center and Tom Lee Park designs below:

To see the designs in person, the Tom Lee Park Engagement Center in Beale Street Landing is open from 4:00–7:00 PM on Wednesdays and noon-3:00 PM on Saturdays where staff can answer questions and lead you through the model.
