Recording of April 14, 2021 design update with Chris Bennett (Studio Gang) and Brad Howe (SCAPE).

As construction continues on the Cutbank Bluff, final details for the groundplane of Tom Lee Park west of Riverside Drive continue to be refined. Watch the video update above to see the latest images and details of the new park. Design development is now complete and the design team is working to finalize construction documents for the balance of the park. Construction is scheduled to begin this summer.

With Tom Lee Park funding now 80% complete, investors in the park are finalizing where they will be recognized.

All donors who make commitments of more than $1,000 are named as Visionaries and will have their names inscribed in the park forever. Contact Nancy Harwood or fill out this form to make your pledge and be added to the list.

Five major corporate investors with investments of $250,000 or more have revealed the parts of the park they have selected to recognize their commitment.

AutoZone Plaza

The best place to cool off or witness the glow of a Memphis sunset is at the AutoZone Plaza in Tom Lee Park. At 7,000 square feet, an interactive fountain releases mist through the day and supports a variety of atmospheres and playful activities for both adults and children.

Campbell Clinic - Official Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Provider

Campbell Clinic is named as the official sports medicine and orthopedic provider of Tom Lee Park. The Campbell Clinic Circuits will be programmed fitness pathways that loop around the Active Core and Community Batture sections of the park.

First Horizon Foundation Sunset Lounge and Lawn

The First Horizon Foundation Sunset Lounge and Lawn are two stunning destinations for groups to gather at the river’s edge and enjoy the iconic sunsets rolling in over the Mississippi River.

Heroes Plaza presented by Baptist Memorial Health Care

Surrounding the Tom Lee Memorial at the river’s edge is Heroes Plaza, presented by Baptist Memorial Health Care. Heroes Plaza is surrounded by sprawling meadows and includes seating and signage honoring Tom Lee and our local everyday heroes.

Regional One Health River Trail

The Regional One River Trail in Tom Lee Park is the park’s circulatory spine that stretches the full length of the park from north to south. Weaving through each park zone and near the river’s edge, the Regional One River Trail is the main promenade and walking trail in the new Tom Lee Park.
