Gamescom: Adding new merchants to our ecosystem
As MenaPay, we’ve completed our participation in the 6th event in the blockchain and digital world. Gamescom 2018, held in Cologne between 21st and 25th of August, was a really effective and promising event for us as we try to accomplish our goal in becoming the most commonly used cryptocurrency in MENA region.
This time, we have aired a MenaPay balloon in our booth and we’re safe to say that, once again we had a very popular booth. The participants of one of the biggest gaming events of the world were also interested in the firs blockchain based payment gateway in the MENA region.
A letter of intent was signed with Gamebuddy!
Created to connect online players from all over the world, Game Buddy is the first social network for League of Legends. After our meeting with Julian Suttner and explaining him about the benefits of MenaPay and how we solve the payment issues in MENA region, Julian was willing to sign a letter of intent with us.
With adding Game Buddy, we have expanded our merchant network with gaming industry before our launch. That gives us the confidence in our vision and our project. Thank you, Game Buddy and we’re very excited to make business with you!
With other gaming companies, we had very effective meetings by discussing the future of MENA, possible solutions and the growth of gaming industry. Many promising connections were made for future partnerships and two of the companies will sign digital letter of intents.
We had very important visitors in Gamescom, Cologne!
We welcomed our guests from the Turkish Consulate General of Düsseldorf at our booth. We shared the details of our project and our future plans with them. They thanked us for contributing to the Middle East blockchain ecosystem and wished us success in our project. This important visit has given us more motivation and eagerness.
OUR DART GAME WAS SO FUN!
To follow the spirit of Gamescom, we set a dart game for participants and rewarded the ones that showed an excellent performance in the game.
Promising meetings, excited participants and important guests… These could be the summary of our experience in Gamescom 2018.
