2. Open the app. If you do not have a MenaPay account, please click to ‘Sign Up’ button
3. Use your phone number to sign up. Write your phone number and read ‘MenaPay Service Agreement and MenaPay Privacy Policy’, after you read the terms and conditions click to the button and accept it.
4. Your phone number must be verified to continue with the registration process. A code will be sent to your phone via SMS to complete the verification process. Enter this code in the “enter code” section in the MenaPay app.
5. After your phone number is verified, you will need to set a password. Please create your private password. Your password is private to you and used to login to the application. Therefore, do not share your password with anyone.
6. After entering the MenaPay application with the password you have set, you will see “account recovery words”. Account recovery words consist of 12 randomly generated words and are specific to your account. Please write down the words on account recovery or email yourself using the “send email” option. Because if you forget or lose these words, you will not have access to your account again.
7. Now, you are logged into the MenaPay application.
8. After you logged in, it is very important to verify your profile by doing Profile Verification from the “Settings” tab. This is required to install MenaCash by credit / debit card.
9. You need to enter your personal information, take a photo of the front and back of your identity card with the identity document declaration, and finally record a 5-second video by following the necessary rules through the application.
10. You have verified your profile with a total of 3 steps. It may take some time for the documents and information you send to be verified by MenaPay.
11. You can make payments within seconds by installing MenaCash from the application to your account. MenaCash is a fixed cryptocurrency used for payments at MenaPay member merchants or for transfers within MenaPay users.
How MenaCash Can Be Bought?
You can purchase or request stable cryptocurrency used for payment and transfer transactions MenaCash to top-up your MenaPay Wallet.
Important Reminder: 1 MenaCash is always equal to 1 USD.
1. Login to your MenaPay account on app.
2. Touch “Get MenaCash“ button on the hom screen and then proceed with “Buy MenaCash” button.
3. You will see “Wire Transfer“, “Credit / Debit Card“ and “Ininal Card“ options to purchase MenaCash.
4. If you wish to buy MenaCash via Wire Transfer, please follow the instructions below:
· Proceed with Wire Transfer option
· Choose suitable MenaPay bank account among Garanti (USD or TRY accounts) or switch country to United Arab Emirates to proceed with Emirates NBD.
· According to your selection, Wire Transfer request will be created automatically and bank account information will be shown on the screen.
· Please copy or note the bank account information. Your bank will request them from you to complete wire transfer. Please do not forget to add “Transaction ID“ to Wire Transfer details while sending Money and be aware that Transaction ID is unique for each Wire Transfer.
· Finally, make a payment in TRY or USD corresponding amount of MenaCash from your bank account to MenaPay’s bank account which info shared with you. (Please don’t forget to write Transfer ID in the description field of Wire Transfer on your bank transaction. Otherwise, your payment will be rejected and your fiat currency will be sent back to your bank account.)
· After all steps are completed, you may have to wait approval from your bank and MenaPay. Once your transaction is approved, your MenaCash will show up in your MenaPay Wallet.
6. If you wish to buy MenaCash via Credit/ Debit Card, please follow the instructions below:
Caution: Users have to complete profile verification process of MenaPay to be able to buy MenaCash via Credit/Debit Card and users can only purchase MenaCash via their own Credit/Debit Card.
· Please touch Credit/Debit Card option
· Please enter the amount of MenaCash you want to buy with Credit / Debit card on the screen. You can use both fiat currency or MenaCash fields to define amount and touch Proceed button.
· You will be asked to fill your card details in this step. Please read carefully MenaPay Terms of Services and proceed if you agree. Once you fill the card details and touch Proceed button, you will be directed to your bank’s payment screen.
· When your payment is succesfully completed, your MenaCash will be top-upped to your MenaPay Wallet.
7. If you wish to buy MenaCash via Ininal Card, please follow the instructions below:
· Please touch Ininal Card option
· Enter the amount you want to purchase in TRY or MenaCash and touch Proceed button.
· Please enter your Ininal Card details and read carefully MenaPay Terms of Services and touch Proceed button if you agree.
· You will be directed to payment approval step. If you accept information you provided, please touch ‘’Approve’’ button.
· Your MenaCash will be top-upped to your MenaPay Wallet.
To chech your MenaCash balance, you can return to Home Screen.
How MenaCash Can Be Requested?
MenaCash can be requested from every MenaPay user just in seconds on MenaPay SuperApp. You can share your MenaPay Wallet’s QR Code with your friends or people you wish via popular messaging applications such as WhatsApp and Telegram. Please touch ‘’Get MenaCash’’ button and proceed with ‘’Request MenaCash’’. You unique QR Code will show up on your screen. You can easily click ‘’Share’’ button to send your QR code to people you wish.
How MenaCash Can Be Sent?
1. Please touch ‘’Send MenaCash’’ button on homescreen on MenaPay mobile application.
2. You will see 4 different options to send your MenaCash to other MenaPay users.
If you wish to send your MenaCash to another MenaPay User’s QR Code, please follow instructions below:
· Touch QR Code button
· Your smart phone’s camera will automatically be opened to scan other MenaPay User’s QR Code. Please scan the QR Code and enter the MenaCash amount you want to send. Then approve the transaction. Your transaction will be completed within 3–5 seconds.
If you wish to send MenaCash to another MenaPay User’s Email Adress, please follow instructions below:
· Touch E-mail option
· Pleae enter the verified E-mail adresss of other MenaPay User and touch Proceed button.
· You will be asked to enter MenaCash amount you want to send. Please fill the amount and touch Approve button.
If you wish to send MenaCash to another MenaPay User’s Phone Number, please follow instructions below:
· Touch Phone Number option
· You can select Phone number from your contacs or enter phone number manually.
· Once you enter other MenaPay User’s phone number, you will be asked to enter MenaCash amount you want to send. Please fill the amount and touch Approve button.
If you wish to send MenaCash to another MenaPay User’s Username, please follow instructions below:
· Touch Username button
· Enter MenaPay Username of person you want to send MenaCash and touch Proceed button.
· You will be asked to enter the MenaCash amount of you want to send. Please fill the amount and touch Approve button.
All MenaCash transactions are completed instantly within 3–5 seconds.
How to make and receive payments / money transfer with the Scan button?
1. Click the “scan” button on the home page.
2. Here you will see the scan screen first. You can send MenaCash by scanning the QR code of the person you want to send MenaCash.
3. Secondly, there is a screen to make payments. When you click there, you will see your wallet QR code.
4. The person who will receive the payment from you will scan your QR code with the MenaPay app on their phone and it will enter how much receive MenaCash from you.
