Our Experiences in Techcrunch Sessions: Blockchain 2018, Zug

Our General Manager Tolga Odoğlu, our CMO İlker Çıkrıkçılı and our board member Barış Özistek have attended Techcrunch Sessions: Blockchain in Zug, Switzerland.

Happened near this incredible view, event gave our team members the chance to network, collect feedback and hear influential people on the sessions.

One of the attending guests was the founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin;

Vitalik has kindly requested centralized exchanges to “go and burn in hell”. Well, it’s hard not to agree with him.

With the mission of disrupting current banking solutions in MENA, we’ve shared our passion in our happy hour with lots of likeminded people and had a chance to create great relationships and have excellent conversations about blockchain and the region. They all showed a great interest in our vision and in MenaPay.

During the event, we have met with really interesting people and talked about our vision to generate feedback from them. Their kind enthusiasm really kept us up during the event.

The future is decentralized, for sure. People that are aware of that had listened to the event very carefully and taken notes on what’s waiting us in the future.

After these 3 days full with inspiration, we’re even more ready to create the first, fully-backed blockchain payment gateway in MENA with our amazing team.
