TownHall is a framework for that enables developers to build decentralized & incentivized communication systems. The system is designed to reward users who provide valuable content to a discussion by paying them in tokens. Everyone has to pay a little bit to contribute, and the most popular post gets the payout.

A few possible use cases:

Our primary use case is of course a community layer which allows people to reward one another for their contributions. Sort of like a Reddit, where you can upvote one another and actually reward them tokens. As well as being censorship resistant meaning it encourages more considerate contributions, people will be rewarded appropriately.

Another use case for this, which is one of our personal favorites! StackOverflow that lets you reward people for fixing complex software issues!

If you want to get more serious, you could build a version ofWikiLeaks which pays whistleblowers, while protecting their identity.

There are lots of other things that you can create. Please download TownHall and make tell us what you think.
