The Real Root of All Evil
That isn’t talked about enough.
If I was to ask you what you believe is the ROOT of all evil, you would most likely think it is money, greed, control, power, or even Government. Others may believe that evil comes from family, genetics, or possibly, people in general.
What if I told you that all of these answers are almost correct, but the are NOT the root of origin.
People, money, power, greed and control can most certainly be seen as evil. However, they aren’t always necessarily sinister. In fact they can also be positive forces in our world.
The root of evil comes from people’s innate need to want what others have. There is this built in mechanism that human nature carries, that looks at other people’s lives comparatively, perceptively viewing them as a standard they should meet. This is called ENVY. Jealousy. The old Green Eyed Monster.
