I’ve always loved autumn. I loved going back to school every fall, I love the crunchcrunchcrunch of leaves underneath my boots, and I love that the temperature is finally dropping. I’m a sweaty girl who rightfully hates summer.

I think I get the opposite of seasonal affective disorder because I thrive in autumn and winter (with the exception of the last few weeks of December because hello, who actually enjoys the holidays? Not me). I start to feel more myself in the fall and get to wear clothes I am more comfortable in as it gets colder outside. Anyone else, or is that just me?

Here’s what’s coming up this month for Mental Health Day:

I’m hoping to finally get submission guidelines finished and up so that fellow readers can contribute to this pub. I know I promised that a few weeks ago but it’s been slow going and I’ve been caught up with work (excuses, excuses).

As well, Mental Health Day is going to be doing monthly themes surrounding mental health awareness and other various topics. I’ve been struggling to find the inspiration/motivation to write about random topics because, well, it’s random. But if we have a monthly — or even couple-of-months-ly — theme I’ll be able to stick to it. I am certainly a sucker for routine.

So here’s what I need from YOU. What are some topics that you want to see in this pub? I have a few ideas for themes but I want to know what sorts of topics you all would be interested in reading and sharing.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.

Be on the look out for the submission guidelines *fingers crossed* that should be up by the end of this week!

Have a fantastic Tuesday!
