  • Full time/Start in September
  • Sanctus employee no.5
  • Mission led, values driven business transforming mental health.

Description

Our vision is to put the world’s first mental health gym on the high street, but right now we’re putting Sanctus in the workplace. With people spending more time than ever at work and work having a huge impact on people’s mental health, we are incredibly passionate about mental health in the workplace.

Sanctus currently works with businesses to help them raise awareness on mental health, and we provide Sanctus coaching to create a safe space within a business for people to talk about their mental health.

In this role, we’re looking for someone to nurture relationships with businesses (partners) and meet their needs.

You’ll be at the front line of Sanctus providing support and A+ customer service to both the businesses putting Sanctus in the workplace and the individuals attending sessions.

You will be our partners first point of contact for any issues relating to how we run Sanctus in the workplace. You’ll nurture the relationships that make Sanctus tick and will be responsible for giving them the best Sanctus experience possible. You will be there for the individuals who attend sessions helping them to reach a Sanctus coach as smoothly as possible

Roles and Responsibilities

  • High quality and genuine relationship management. At Sanctus we have partners not clients. You’ll need to nurture the relationship with your genuine passion for our mission and working to change the perception of mental health, not an eye on purely hitting targets.
  • Upgrading, renewing and scaling back the presence of Sanctus within a business where necessary
  • Maximising and managing attendance of Sanctus sessions
  • Running and monitoring waitlists to ensure Sanctus is accessible to all people within the business
  • Providing customer service to the individuals attending Sanctus sessions
  • ‘Fire Fighting’ — this might mean last minute problems, unexpected events or things that require you to act now. We’ll need a problem solver who is proactive in a crisis
  • Weekly admin to ensure all the moving parts of Sanctus are working together to enable individuals to meet with their coach
  • Maintaining accurate records of attendance, dates and updates on partner relationships
  • Creativity to create accurate, captivating and personable marketing about what Sanctus is to be shared internally with our partners
  • Event management and working to host meet-ups for our partners

Life at Sanctus

  • The salary for this role is £24k — £28k.
  • Currently we’re a full time team of 6, including the 2 founders and you would be employee no. 5.
  • We have 20 coaches who are self-employed but feel very much a part of our team, so in total we’re 26 strong.
  • Our home is in the Tea Building, Shoreditch and we work out of the ustwo Adventure space alongside companies like tray.io, easle.co, Tribe and others.
  • We have a very open and receptive culture towards mental health and you might find us talking about the meaning of life or the use of psychedelics in therapy over lunch.
  • We aren’t a fully remote organisation, but have a flexible remote working policy.
  • We have our own Sanctus Coach that provides 1:1 coaching for our team, this is a space to talk about absolutely anything you want and it can be personal or professional, nothing is ever fed back to Sanctus.
  • We also run monthly Sanctus Groups where we reflect on our own mental health as a team — this is for our coaches and our HQ team.
  • We run monthly town halls, where we share our work-specific challenges with each other as a way to support one another.
  • We have regular socials that don’t just mean drinking, but we do like to go to the pub too.
  • Employees have 25 days holiday which they are encouraged to take and we talk about holidays in 1:1s
  • We have a fairly relaxed approach to set working hours and taking appointments in the day etc.
  • As a business we are profitable and growing sustainably with no investor pressures, we’ve raised no institutional money and are very much in control of our own destiny.

You can apply for the role here and applications close July 31st.
