Mentor’s Rewards

Here I want to bring light on Mentor’s motivation to verify Trainee's tasks and pull requests(PR). Actually, an ambitious idea is to create a labor market for Mentor, it’s not just about “motivation”.

Anyway, let’s look at how money gets into the system. It’s simple, Trainees buy virtual tokens and then pay for the whole course or its part within thous tokens.

From the other side of the market, Mentor provides service with reviewing PRs and tasks. When Trainee prepared tasks for verification, the mentor approves it.

  1. Practice or exercise eventually derives in PR, so approval is an approve of PR
  2. With theory, it’s probably a task without PR, so approve it’s a comment like ‘Approved’

Only after the task is closed Mentor gets rewards (money + karma scores). You may notice that Mentor doesn’t need to wait for all Course completion by Trainee and gets money part by part.

Another interesting aspect is that #1 and #2 don’t guaranty that the task is closed. It’s done to have an additional level of review by other pears if it needs, so Mentor has to take care of the quality of his reviews.
