15.The Berlin Adlershof
The Berlin Adlershof Science City is one of the most successful high-technology sites in Germany and Berlin’s largest media site. It is home to 1,041 companies and scientific institutions (Dec 2016) on an area of 4.2 km² — embedded in an integrated urban planning concept. 16,778 people work and 6,700 study here.
The Science and Technology Park is at the heart of the Adlershof Science City. It encompasses 512 companies and ten non-university research institutes. They focus on; Photonics and Optics, Renewable Energies and Photovoltaics, Microsystems and Materials, IT and Media, Biotechnology and Environment.
Adding to this are six scientific institutes of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Chemistry, Geography, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics and Psychology). The Media City is home to 147 companies. In the immediate vicinity of science, technology, and media, a landscaped park and 360 private houses have been developed on an area of 66 ha. Large additional areas enable the Science and Technology Park to grow in the future. The near future years will see the completion of 1,400 housing units (“Living on Campus”) for about 2,500 people in the immediate vicinity to the Humboldt-University campus.
The Frauengenossenschaft WeiberWirtschaft has established the largest founder and entrepreneur center in Anklamerstrasse in Berlin-Mitte. The basic principle is simple: they bundle the initiative, the economic potential and, above all, the corporate lust of women and give this idea a name and a space: women’s business — location for bosses.

BBB Management GmbH Campus Berlin-Buch develops and operates Campus Berlin-Buch, the leading location for biotechnology and biomedicine in the health region of Berlin. BBB stands for BiotechPark Berlin-Buch — the most important division of the company, which was founded in 1995, and is an integral part of the campus.

18.Innovationspark Wuhlheide Berlin
A good place for founders
Founders start at the Innovationspark immediately. You will benefit from the favorable conditions of an all-round carefree package. Particularly important: low-cost, high-quality commercial spaces, modern laboratory and storage areas if required. The areas can be arranged mainly variably and open for their own design variants.

W1 Forward is the Accelerator program powered by WERK1, a leading digital incubator in Munich. Our vision is to help startups to grow their idea into scalable business.
W1 Forward InsurTech Accelerator was launched by WERK1 in 2015 together with leading insurance companies to establish one of the world’s leading ecosystems for InsurTech startups in Munich and help them boost the market. The program supports five teams. The core program is set out for six months and is open to startups worldwide who want to revolutionize the industry.
Teams will use WERK1 installations for free and work hand in hand with renowned coaches, mentors and leaders of the industry, all worth €50.000/startup. The goal is to develop a concept to a market-ready product or service. The Innovation Center at the Darmstadt site is a fundamental element of Merck’s plans for the future.
