Abstract
In the past two weeks, the Merculet team has participated in industry conferences in Beijing, Shenzhen and other areas. At the 7th China Brand Chain Development Conference, Ivan Jiang, CEO of Merculet, was the keynote speaker as the representative of the Blockchain industry, delivered a speech “New Retail Reform Driven by Blockchain”. After the meeting, Merculet received warm responses from the guests, amounts of companies expressed a strong willingness to cooperate with Merculet. Merculet team has successfully held its first strategic meeting in the United States and began validation. In addition, two more brilliant talents, which will bring unlimited power to the development of the company has joined Merculet.
I. Important News Update
- In the past two weeks, Merculet has added two talents to join the company:
Former LeTV №4 employee and General Manager of the Telecom Department, Xu Zhen, was appointed as the General Manager (North China) of Merculet. In the past several years, Xu Zhen worked in large telecom companies such as ZTE, Motorola, Samsung, and Lenovo. He is adept at customer relationship management, excellent in resource cohesion, capable of deep penetration of mobile Internet and communication industry, as well as has extensive channel expansion capability, which will bring significant value to Merculet in product innovation and enterprise services.

Zhong Hao has officially joined Merculet as the Brand Director. He has worked for well-known Internet companies such as Qiniu Cloud and National Broadcasting Platform, founded Zhong Xiao of the SmallTalk Internet Community. In terms of brand promotion, Zhong Hao has rich experience and extensive networking resources. We believe that his deep understanding of the enterprise-level services and the needs of decision-makers can better export the core values of Merculet into actual landing. 2. Ivan Jiang led the core team of Merculet to the United States, and instilled vigilance in North America by expressing the attitude of “get things done”! The following is the result of the first “formal” strategic meeting in the United States:
Team members have kicked off their temporary meeting at 4 o’clock in the morning. During their discussions, they’ve realized not a single person had a sheet of paper to take notes. Immediately, colleagues seized the moment to dash toward the bathroom and took a few sheets of toilet paper. They quickly wrote down their plans and ideas. In this way, the entire US strategy would be finalized and will enter the verification phase.
So, in the following subsequent days, Ivan will start his “one city, one business day” model.
II. Community Activities
- On October 23rd, Merculet North China held a closed-door meeting in Beijing. Leo Wang, General Manager of Merculet’s SME line, shared the speech entitled, Credible Token: The Door to Value Internet.
He kicked off his presentation by explaining pain points of the customers that were acquired and retained by the enterprise users. He comprehensively illustrated the natural functionalities of token economics in resolving the aforementioned pain points, and how Merculet uses its blockchain technology to empower traditional enterprises. Song Linghua, Vice President of Kou Liang, and as a representative customer of Merculet, introduced the operating rules and user growth expectations of the Kou Liang Token (Kou Liang Fu Guo) system.
Several head representatives from Kangjia Technology, Good Bean Network, National Culture Enterprise, and Consensus Laboratory were also present at the meeting.
2. On October 25th, the 7th China Brand Chain Development Conference was held in Shenzhen. As an invited guest, Ivan Jiang made a keynote speech on New Retail Reform Driven by Blockchain and discussed his thoughts on how Blockchain can empower the industry with well-known entrepreneurs, experts and participants from more than 1,000 companies across the country.
At present, big data, cloud computing, Blockchain, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and other high-tech has made its way into the landing stage of the retail field. In the face of the accelerated era of smart retail, Ivan believes that blockchain technology can transform production relations for the industry and generate a new era of smart retail. Merculet provides the retail industry with platform-based, eco-level solutions. IV. Progress of Product Development
GaaS platform
Based on the content modules online, GaaS platform adds synchronization capabilities for content incentives and third-party content sources.
- Limited simple operations in the content module can realize automatic synchronization of third-party content sources, which is easily accessible for operators to push content in the community;
- Content module supports behavioural incentives: operators can configure relevant behaviours and set corresponding rewards, such as reading, liking, sharing, etc., to easily achieve the certification operation;
- Improved from previous version (October 12th), we enabled new visual and interactive specifications and adjusted some of the interfaces. As of this week, completion has reached 90%. Users can experience a significant increase in user-friendliness throughout system navigating after logging in.
Simplet
Simplet Mini App and Simplet 2.0 have been improved on the red envelope feature.
- Red envelope function was transplanted into the Simplet Mini and the red envelope experience was optimized;
- Optimized the H5 red envelope experience and process;
- Added e-business card function to assist community management;
- In the development of the super-node primary version, the online e-commerce will currently share the incentive model.
Open Platform
- Optimized user authorization and cleared interface;
- Provided support for online registration and offline sign-in functions for industry association;
- Open Platform official website and registration process development.
V. Progress of Technology Renewal
Over the past two weeks, our R&D team has continued to optimize the underlying:
- Established Merculet Fabric SDK, package configuration, event listener, chaincode query, and chaincode invoke;
- Coded fabric configuration migration tool;
- Monitoring data was processed by the Flink streaming data engine;
- Coded the fabric pressure measurement tool;
- Used GoLand to write chaincode to achieve business expansion.
