Phone answering standards at work
Phone tree prompts have almost eliminated the need for a real person to answer the ringing telephones in offices. Love or loath the voicemail prompts and easy listening versions of the music of our youth; the phone trees at least let us feel like we are making progress in reaching information or a real person.
