The Wild Abandon

A Poem

the wild abandon
leaves bruises- blue roses
smiles crack like vases
on the floor of youth

heart heaves its secrets
in pauses-between
liquid courage leaving lips

expel and inhale

and then
it all goes stale
without warning

the wild abandon leaves
unexpectedly, one morning.
