I Choose

Instead of doubt, I choose to believe
Instead of fear, I choose to trust
Instead of failure, I choose success
Instead of limit, I choose to see the horizon
Instead of pain, I choose to see gain
Instead of weakness, I choose strength
Instead of defeat, I choose to prevail
Instead of complaining, I choose to pray

Life will always give me options
There are two sides of a coin — head or tail
Whether to choose the head or tail
Whether to look ahead or backwards
Whether to take a giant leap
Whether to take baby steps or remain
The choices are indeed mine to make

To fight I must
To live a shall
I choose to take a step at a time
A giant leap if possible
I press on like a soldier
Forward marching
Backward never

Merizo

Merizo (gk: divide, apportion inheritance). We learn, live and love by truth. The word of God is quick and powerful. It is sharper than any two-edged sword. It can divide and distinguish between soul and spirit; good and God. It can apportion an inheritance for us in His will.
