Unbearable Silence

This silence is deafening
I can’t stand another second
I can’t pretend to carry on
I can’t act like it is all fine

My soul is hungry for You
This heat is intense for me
Just a word from you will do
Hell is indeed where God isn’t

Even the dreams are blank
Times of worship are bland
So heavy can’t lift my hands
Chocked like I’m being canned

Just yesterday, I took it for granted
Didn’t bend my knee to gather manna
I thought I had enough for the day
Only to find that they are stale

I still walked around the whole day
But I knew my clock paused
Everything was on a stand still
Waiting for the word to proceed

The Lord will not leave me to myself
He will send brothers in times of need
He’ll call me closer to hear the whisper
He’ll draw me near to get a refill

This storm will pass soon
The sun will shine like noon
We’ll sit again under the moon
Laugh at our days in a cocoon

Soon our wings will flutter
We’ll hear every word He utters
We’ll walk and not falter
He’ll be our shield and buckler

Merizo

Merizo (gk: divide, apportion inheritance). We learn, live and love by truth. The word of God is quick and powerful. It is sharper than any two-edged sword. It can divide and distinguish between soul and spirit; good and God. It can apportion an inheritance for us in His will.
