An Innovative Interoperable Token Standard.

TL; DR

iMerkle — First interoperable token standard built on Merkle Network.

Wrap your normal tokens to convert to iMerkle tokens using a user-friendly interface.

The idea is to make one token standard that can be wrapped on one blockchain but can be instantly withdrawn/unwrapped on multiple supported blockchains of your choice.

iMerkle Portal link — https://i.merkle.network

Mandatories before you test — Metamask wallet, Of course!

What will you encounter in this guide?

We have created this guide to make it easier for everyone to experience the iMERKLE token and witness how easy it’ll be once this whole structure will be in place for the real-time use case. With this, we intend to create a one-of-a-kind token standard that will become the backbone of the interoperable blockchain world.

Try it out and let us know your experience. Anything that can be integrated and needs to be worked upon. We seek valuable feedback from our community.

Read below on your step-by-step guide to test iMERKLE Portal and explore the new standard of interoperability.

  1. Go to https://i.merkle.network/ to get access to the iMERKLE portal.

2. Add all the testnet chains to your Metamask. Currently, you can operate on ETH Ropsten, Polygon Mumbai Matic, And BSC Testnet. You can automatically configure the chain setup from the below link.

3. To test the iMerkle tokens you’ll need some tokens for gas on different chains mentioned.

All you need will be some free testnet tokens to perform any kind of token approval/wrapping/unwrapping during the testing exercise.

Just put in your token address on the above faucet website to get free testnet tokens.

4. To get started, you’ll need to get some DAI tokens on testnet.

  • Firstly, switch to Ropsten testnet on your Metamask

Swap ETH to DAI using Uniswap https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap (remember to keep some ETH in spare for Gas fees)

5. Approve and Wrap DAI token on the Ropsten Testnet network.

6. There is a cooldown period of 2 minutes once you wrap the tokens. After this, your token will be shown as a balance and can be unwrapped on any supported chain that you’d like.

7. Lastly, Unwrap DAI on any connected chain. While doing this make sure, you change both the networks. This will allow you to unwrap on the blockchain of your choice.

  • *Congratulations if you have successfully completed this. Please stay tuned for more updates and integration on this. We’ll keep announcing as and when we progress forward.**
