PPeople are throwing away their memories. Because every word on a postcard is a segment of a fate. In my series “Inspiring Voyeurism” I explore such splinters of other people’s lives.

How does it work?

1. look for written postcards in flea markets or antiquarian bookshops
2. read the text addressed not for you
3. re-imagine lives and recherche about details
4. new story, new life, new alternate reality is born

Is it ethical? Am I stalker?

I am mostly not looking for persons. I am looking for circumstances, facts and environments. It isn’t about to follow others’ fates. It’s about recomposing world. At the moment, as the postcard is thrown away, or being sold, it leaves the comfort zone of anonymity.

Shall it be published?

Yes. This is the precious memory of the world. And as the memory is being fictionalized with the time (all the time), so this unknown world history is part of semi-fiction. Everybody is relevant. We are all integral parts of this reality. And this inspires.
