German Version

There is much to say. Since 2017, in my English-language magazine MERZAZINE, I have been reporting on culture, art and artificial intelligence on the threshold of the new cultural era.

After about 400 essays, I was ready to write a book about AI art. It was published in September 2023, and four months later the book is already in its second edition. Public interest is growing.

In this book, I not only refer to the latest developments (diffusion models, prompt design, copyright controversies, etc.), but also look back at the eventful past of generative art.

Since I have covered all these developments in detail in my English-language magazine, I don’t want to withhold them from the German-speaking public. Therefore, I founded INTERMERZ, whose task is to translate all the essays into German.

As many of these events and developments are already in the past, I will proceed as follows:

  1. First, the translation of an older Merzazine article will be published there.
