After experiencing onsite testing without communication signals in the open mountains, the MeshBox ad hoc network and data transmission tests performed par excellence, and the project team will return to the lab again based on the latest data for the next phase of in-depth development, in order to make its follow-up performance even better.

Being the world’s first hardware box that leverages blockchain technology, the development of MeshBox has attracted worldwide attention. This has brought about new thinking about the possibilities of combining blockchain and hardware technology. When MeshBox deploys, the power of this coupling will be self-evident.

Technical Developments

The field test results of testing MeshBox in an open mountain area without any telecom coverage have been outstanding, showing the achievements that R&D has accomplished as MeshBox’s powerful functionality is shown to the world. The technical team has been monitoring the field test results, and making comparison analyses with traditional Mesh network transmission data. Meanwhile they are attempting to carry out further optimizations to the existing plan, with the aim of making MeshBox more practical.

The team also conducted a test of the interconnection between the MeshBox indoor and outdoor versions. This test was divided into long-term continuous transmission and short-term instantaneous transmission. The test is still in progress, and the technical team will have to repeat it many times to obtain objective data.

MeshBox software development is entering its final development stage, and will soon enter the testing process. As the MeshBox APP and other functional components evolve, MeshBox is building a blockchain-based “world of services”, where people can enjoy more added value through software applications that run on it.

Now that the SmartMesh public-chain Spectrum mapping is imminent, the technical team is ready to migrate it to MeshBox as well.

Market Action

The success of the open mountain area MeshBox test has attracted much public attention, and pre-sale registration has become more popular than ever. The marketing team was the first to introduce and answer questions of interest to the public, and release progress updates as soon as they were available.

The marketing team also had another important job last week, docking MeshBox procurement deployment applications from around the world. The marketing team collected applications and analyzed in detail the requirements of them for running on Mesh networks. Then they ranked them according to the requirements and compiled them into a report.

MeshBox content is also being translated into various languages and publicized in the media in East Asian countries such as Japan and South Korea. This trend will continue as more and more languages and localites are added on to the steadily expanding coverage of MeshBox publicity.

That’s all for this week’s update. Stay tuned next week for all the latest highlights and updates from the MeshBox project.
