Since MessageBird’s launch in 2011, we’ve been focused on building a global communications infrastructure that enables businesses to connect with customers in virtually every corner of the planet. Today, we serve over 15,000 customers from globally recognized brands such as Hugo Boss, Rituals Cosmetics, Lufthansa Airlines, Google and SAP to fast-growing startups such as Hello Fresh, SuitSupply and Uber.

Our decision to open our newest office in Dublin comes at a time when enterprises of all sizes are realizing that a brand’s ability to deliver an engaging and convenient customer experience can build loyalty and create lifetime customers. Until now, big brands, like Amazon, had the edge on creating these types of experiences for customers. But today, with platforms like MessageBird, the road to Amazon-style brand loyalty isn’t as long as it once was — even for brands without Amazon-sized resources. These days, easy-to-implement technology is more accessible and affordable than ever.

Our mission at MessageBird is to make it as easy and convenient for a customer to communicate with a business as it is for them to communicate with friends and family. Our platform makes it possible for customers to reach a business on whatever channel they prefer and on the timeline that works for them — no more waiting on hold. Best yet, with the technology we provide, interactions between customers and businesses can be just like conversations with a friend. After all, when you’re talking to a friend, each conversation picks up where it left off — you don’t have to start from the beginning each time you connect.

As more businesses adopt our platform, it’s important that we provide not only the best technology, but that we help business be successful in their adoption. That’s why we decided to launch our next European office in Dublin, Ireland. As the base of operations to over a thousand international companies, Ireland is home to a diverse pool of talent that will help us support our customers across Europe. Our initial focus will be on hiring for sales, customer success and support. We have over a dozen positions available right out of the gate and we expect that number to easily double within the year.

The global MessageBird team currently includes employees from over 40 nationalities speaking over 25 languages. We think the diversity of our workforce has been instrumental in helping us better serve our customers. And, with offices in Amsterdam, San Francisco, London, Hamburg, Sydney, Shanghai we are just getting started.
