gm Space Monkeys!

The Chief Apes are back to tell you the story of Meta Apes and give you an overview of the gameplay. Sit back and read till the end.

How It All Started

Nuclear warfare swept away almost the entire human race. The survivors had no choice but to flee the earth in spaceships after the catastrophe. Time passed slower in the post-apocalyptic world, and no one would’ve imagined something to flourish in the wasteland.

And that’s when the Apes took over!

Now it’s your turn to conquer the Planet of Apes and take the Apes forward in their mission: Space Hegemony. Help them explore the ruins of humans, search for resources, fight the enemies, and build cities and communities.

Wondering how you can do all this?

Chief Apes got your back. In the early stages, you will be engaged in immersive mainline activities that will help you understand the Meta Apes narrative as well as the battle for supremacy on this Planet of the Apes.

Fight for the Ruins

Timeline: A week after the server starts

To survive the Planet of Apes, you need resources and have to fight for them. The battle for the human ruins & relics starts about a week after the server starts.

Humans have left many ruins on the Planet of the Apes. Some store a lot of materials, and some can even provide magical benefits for the gang. Occupying them can enhance the gang’s strength.

Don’t jump into the battlefield yet. There are some RULES.

Competition Rules

Human ruins are divided into 3 states:

  1. Unopened
  2. Contest
  3. Protection

During the competition, gangs whose territory is connected to the corresponding ruins can detect, attack, and assemble human relics. You obtain the ownership of human relics a while after defeating and occupying the ruins.

Some human ruins are not open and protected, and they cannot be attacked. As time progresses, human ruins of all levels will be opened. Once opened, they will always be in an occupied state.

After being occupied for the first time, the human ruin will periodically switch between the contest period and protection period. You can click the human ruin on the map to view its status and the duration of the current state.

You can reinforce the human ruins occupied by your own gang or attack others occupied by other gangs. When there are multiple reinforcements in the human ruins, they will automatically form a rallying force.

Boosting Effect Rules

Only some human ruins can provide buffs. You can click on a human ruin on the map to view their specific buffs.

During the protection period, all members of the gang to which the human ruin belonged can get the boosting effect, and the competition period does not take effect.

When your gang occupies multiple human ruins, only the one with the highest income will provide income; the gains of the ruins with the same name do not stack.

Clan up

Timeline: About two weeks after the server launch

By this time, you would’ve got the knack of the game.

Once the clan territory is connected to the clan headquarters, troops can be sent to capture it. After the occupation, the gang will become the leader of the corresponding clan. You can recruit other gangs into your clan, share territories, and earn taxes from member gangs’ relic income.

Timeline: About a month after the server launch

The time has come for you to gather all the troops and gangs to march to the launchpad.

Space Hegemony is divided into two stages:

  1. Train race
  2. Launchpad competition

In the train race, the train will gradually move from the space city to the launchpad. This also includes two gameplays of Train Boost and Road Barrier. The launchpad competition begins as you arrive at the launchpad.

Now, you can send the troops from your gang and clan gangs to occupy the launchpad. In the end, the leader of the gang that successfully occupies the launchpad becomes the Overlord of the Planet of the Apes, enjoying a number of hegemonic rights.

Overlord

To gain control of the launchpad and the rocket launch, your gang should occupy and station the troops.

If you succeed, your gang leader will become the Overlord, and the title of Overlord will be a buff for the Overlord himself.

If you’ve become the Overlord, celebrate.

Overlords can assign titles and loot packs to other monkeys. They can also send full-server emails, enable short-term full-server buffs, and use overlord skills.

Make sure to be in the good books of the Overlord. After a space battle, the Overlord can assign a treasure box to any monkey on the Planet of the Apes.

After the treasure box is assigned, it will be sent to the corresponding monkey in the form of an email. After each space battle, each monkey can only get a treasure chest.

We hope this gives you an idea of what you are signing up for in the Meta Apes game.

To sum it up, all you have to do in Meta Apes is Search, Build, Gang Up, Smash, March and Fly!
