Ukrainian NFT-project META HISTORY museum is created to commemorate the history of the current events in Ukraine, preserve the truth, and collect donations for aid. Because disinformation is used by russia on a par with deadly military weapons in Ukraine. Thanks to blockchain technology and art we can gather real facts about the russian invasion as NFTs that can remain unchanged forever. It is a perfect solution to immortalize real facts. Information in it is visible to everyone, but it cannot be changed invisibly by anyone.

The collection includes every substantial event of the russo-Ukrainian war, which is illustrated by one of the hundreds of creative people representing visual art: oil, 3D, motion, generative, calligraphy, abstract and more. And one of the works was created by AI technology. It is an exposition of the objective war facts and personal sensations related to these facts. Concrete and steadfast language of news on the one side. Empathic and free-spirited soul of art on the other. It’s a chronicle of the new age, where technology, art, and history meet, and there’s no space for propaganda.

First NFT masterpieces were dedicated to the start of the war, of course. That were the days when the nightmare of war just became our new reality. The days when the enemy’s fire in our cities set our souls on fire and gave us the superpower to be Ukrainians. It was hard to believe how fast events unfolded on February 24 and changed our habitual life.

But at the same time that was the days when Ukraine received all kinds of support from transferring money via mobile phones to devastating sanctions from the USA and EU against Russia. It was vital for our country. And we endlessly repeated in millions of posts «Please, keep on standing with Ukraine». War seems to be nothing but destruction at first sight. Newsfeed is all about casualties and injustice. But hope can be found even in the darkest times. For example, when you read about newborns in the subway.

On the 1st of May, META HISTORY presented the 2nd drop of NFT-artworks. It included masterpieces created by prominent artists such as Waone Manzhos, Sestry Feldman, Danya Shulipa, and Irene Neyman. And we talked about events that looked like an attempt to influence foreign companies that have imposed sanctions on Russia and aimed to whitewash the reputation of Russians in the world. About “destroying” an enemy weapon. About fear of repeating the Chornobyl disaster. And about our faith that our army will stand and we will win.

These days of war are like an endless nightmare. Despite this, we’ve realized that we live in the most glorious country with the bravest and most faithful people in the world. Hard times made us a real family. And now we share one simple wish — to live in peace in our home named Ukraine. We defend our Ukraine, our home. And this land gives us the superpower to face aggressors without fear. Ukraine is like David who fights against Goliath therefore the victory is predictable.

The 3rd drop was about how we have stopped believing that the people of russia oppose the invasion of Ukraine. Because we saw the results of surveys showing that 70% of Russians support the war. We learned who was a true friend and who stayed in Russia and continued to do business while paying for the war against us with their taxes. 3 million of us became refugees, and 10 million of us lost our jobs. 3,500 civilian infrastructure and over 2,700 homes were destroyed. We heard about the order of the Russian soldiers to kill everyone, including the elderly and children, in the intercepts of their conversations. But we also saw that there were brave leaders willing to support us and visit Ukraine despite all the danger. And we have become even closer to European countries that share our values of freedom and democracy.

The 4th drop (this is currently the last of the released) recounts the events of spring through April 30. Its special feature is that it was created by artificial intelligence together with the team of the Ukrainian company ZibraAI. And it deserves its own article.

At the moment the project team is working on the 5th drop collection. And will continue until the war is over. The last NFT of the Warline collection will illustrate the victory of Ukraine in the confrontation with aggressor.
