A Dive Into the MetaPang World — Its Crypto Integration, and the Lurking Slimes Players Need to Confront

MetaPang is a casual play-to-earn shooting game that features cute characters and conventional weapons built on an easy-to-use platform. Developed by Coco Games, players can purchase NFTs from the marketplace and when used in-game, they will be rewarded with tradable coins for every mission cleared.
To top it off, a lucky box is also available in between missions, providing players with the opportunity to acquire a variety of items. MetaPang is an up-and-coming blockchain-based game that maximizes the potential of P2E.
Gameplay and Mechanics
Once players jump into MetaPang, they will be greeted with four buttons at the bottom of the screen: Store, Map, Character, and Storage.
Characters
Meet MetaPang’s fearless heroines: Scarlet, Ella, and Rush. Gamers can choose one of the three to lead their party before every mission. The leader will be the user’s controllable character. These fiery gun-slinging lasses have their own skills: The Assault-type Scarlet has 10% more offensive power, the Medic Ella reloads weapons 10% faster, while Scout Rush runs faster compared to the two.
Map
The map is divided into three zones:
- 1 Zones
- 2 Zones
- 3 Zones
One Zone has 10 stages, totaling 30 stages. Slimes lurk in these areas and it is up to the player to free these areas from the vile creatures. Each stage rewards a certain amount of GEM, which players can convert into the game’s native token PANG coin. PANG coins can be used on the Coco Games Marketplace and traded on the exchange.
Players need to complete all 10 stages before they can move on to the next zone. The higher the level, the greater the number of enemies the player needs to deal with. But the player’s effort will pay off as more enemies would mean more rewards. These stages are labeled Normal, Elite, Campsite, and Store. Campsites offer gamers 25% strength recovery for their characters, while Stores allow them to purchase auxiliary weapons that can be mounted for a week. This auxiliary equipment possesses different effects that will better serve the player depending on their strategy.
The goal in each area is to clear 50 Slimes. Four different types of slimes inhabit these areas: Charge, Interruption, Explosion, and Expansion. Upon touching these creatures, the character loses a certain amount of HP.
Only a total of 30 stages can be completed in a day. Once the character dies, accumulated gems from the stage are forfeited. Furthermore, players will have to start from the first stage, which will be locked for an hour.
While the premise seems easy, each mission demands different strategies. It is up to the player which of the three characters they will choose as a leader or which weapons they will equip to eliminate all the Slimes from the area.
The Map screen also features four more buttons, namely Collection, Swap, My Wallet, and Claim.
My Wallet
Through the My Wallet option, players can send BNB by copying their wallet addresses for withdrawals and to pay for gas bills.
Swap
Swap lets users exchange their BipCoin (BIP) with BNB using the in-game PancakeSwap. The amount of the exchange will depend on the current exchange rate at 95%.
Claim
The Claim button enables players to change their GEM to BIP and the other way around. They can claim a certain amount of tokens depending on what is displayed currently in-game. While claiming GEM (from BIP) has no fee, a 10% fee will be deducted from their GEM when they wish to claim BIP.
Store
Players get the good stuff from the Store. Also tagged as Premium Shop, this features NFT armaments from potions, pistols, and submachine guns to shotguns and assault rifles, among other weapons. Weapons are color-coded and ranked from 1 star to 6 stars depending on their level. Each weapon adds a certain amount of hitpoints (HP) to the equipped character based on its level.
Collection
Collection or inventory lets players store their hard-earned NFT weapons and potions. This is also where they can equip said armaments to the three characters.
