mpDAO Grants 7: Boosting the communities around the world
In an exciting development, the community governance process for mpDAO successfully allocated funds to 18 innovative projects. A total of 64,900,846 votes were cast across 51 proposals, more than double of votes allocated on mpDAO Grants 6, with a combined request of $220,026 USD.
This round marked a historic milestone with over $49,860 USD approved for grantees, supporting 18 projects. The total budget for this round was $119,581.70, leaving $69,781.70 remaining in the treasury.

Meta Pool Q3, 2024: A promising future for multichain governance
The third quarter of 2024 is shaping up to be a period of significant transformation for our Protocol. Each milestone in our roadmap represents a technical advancement and redefines how we interact with the Web3 ecosystem and how our DAO positions itself to lead innovation in the space. ICP Staking
A new chain is coming to Meta Pool, but before that, we have started an audit with Block Apex. At Meta Pool, something that characterizes us is our commitment to the security of our users, which is essential when integrating a new chain and services.
That being said, in our first steps to support the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) Network, we have teamed up with Block Apex to audit the ICP Liquid Staking smart contract.

We had our first livestream on X with our Co-Founders, Claudio Cossio (@ccossio) and Lucio Tato (@lucio_tato). They answered some questions from the community, including:

Vote to earn rewards
During June, the protocol collected 24,268 (~$163,723 USD) stNEAR in fees. These fees are divided:
- Paid to Active Voters (65%); 15,775 stNEAR (~$105,692 USD)
- Grants Fund (10%): 2,426 stNEAR (~$16,254 USD)
- DAO Operations (25%): 6,067 stNEAR (~$40,648 USD)
Protocol fees distributed for active voters in July was a total of 15,775 stNEAR (~$105,692 USD).
