mpDAO Grants has reached a significant milestone in its development, marking a new high with over $110,000 USD allocated for distribution in a single round. This substantial increase in funding opens up opportunities for a wider range of projects to benefit from the program, with proposals now able to scale up in both amount and quantity.

One of the most exciting developments is the integration of multi-chain governance, enabling Ethereum users to directly participate in Meta Pool’s governance tools. This includes the selection of grant recipients, providing a more inclusive platform for the broader crypto community.

Furthermore, users can now lock their $mpDAO tokens to gain voting power, with a new formula introduced to calculate votes. By multiplying the number of locked $mpDAO tokens by the chosen unbonding period in days and dividing by 60, long-term holders opting for a 300-day unbonding period stand to benefit significantly.

In addition to these enhancements, mpDAO Grants 7 introduces new guidelines aimed at enhancing the security and stability of grant projects. Grantees will now be required to meet specific milestones before receiving payments, ensuring accountability and progress throughout the project lifecycle.
