When you look at a pile of used cardboard boxes what do you see? Maybe potential moving boxes, but probably trash or recycling. Our makers came in and saw the pile of cardboard boxes and saw something awesome!

Our makers decided to make a marble track, but not any ordinary one. The track was going to be taped to the wall and include a ring the marble had to go through before landing in the holder. All of these were going to be made out of the cardboard and predominantly by the makers.

They immediately got started, cutting cardboard, and deciding the final layout of their track. Then came the more difficult part, determining where to put each of the pieces so the marble could successfully make it from the start to the end without any interference from the makers.

This resulted in a several trial runs with the marble as the angle of the track and location of the ring were minutely adjusted so the marble could successfully travel along the desired path.

After two hours of cutting, taping, and tweaking, our makers were successful! They had a ball!
