MetaCartel Wave IV Grants
MetaFuel, DeFi Zap, Loft Radio, AraCartel, Signal DAO, Fest DAO, TimeRex, Wizard, iEarn Finance, MetaClan, MetaGammaDelta
It’s been 3 months since our last grants update, what has happened so far?
🔥️ MetaFuel
MetaFuel is a collaboration between TeleFuel, Abridged, and MetaCartel DAO, where we are working on creating crypto integrated slack/discord-like experience for Telegram. We are working with the TeleFuel and Abridged team on how to scale MetaCartel’s existing network of telegram chat community and how to enable a unified community experience. We are proud to have the opportunity to work on this and believe that MetaFuel will be key to MetaCartel’s growing ecosystem of DAOs and DApps.
⚡️ DeFi Zap
DeFi Zap is a platform that aggregates DeFi investment opportunities for users to easily invest into. We are working with the DeFi Zap team on exploring how to leverage a DAO structure for governance of the platform and also as a means to effectively incentivize and scale the production of available ‘Zap’ investment opportunities. We believe that DeFi Zap’s project vision of evolving into a community-owned and managed DApp is a pattern that many projects would follow.
🌈 Loft Radio
Loft Radio is a LowFi Hip Hop internet radio site that leverages Ethereum to enable listeners to directly tip artists. We are working with them on exploring how we can create new meaningful experiences between artists and their fans. We believe the work of Loft Radio will go far in discovering new crypto-usecases around payments, curation and gifting with the music industry.
🦅 AraCartel DAO
The AraCartel (Flying Chilli) DAO is an Aragon Dandelion DAO (ragequit mechanism) formed between the two realms of Aragon and the MetaCartel Ecosystem. We are looking to fund DAO further efforts around DAO Product onboarding. We believe that this is the first step towards a prosperous alliance between both parties.
📡 Signal DAO
Signal DAO is a telegram chat bot-driven DAO created by the Abridged team that aims to aggregate signal on DAO funding ideas (for MetaCartel DAO and Moloch DAO) from the crowd. It was an experiment on automating various aspects of DAOs such as soft signaling and polling and has thus evolved as a project. We will be deploying many more Signal DAOs in the near future.
⛺️ Fest DAO
Fest DAO is a grassroots event coordination DAO that coordinated events in over 19 cities around the world during 2019. They have been responsible so far for all the work that has emerged via DAOFest events and conferences. We will be joining their DAO in support of their work as the first pledge in.
🦖 TimeRex
TimeRex is an easy DApp that helps folks launch their own personal token. It aims to be an easy crypto onboarding tool for newcomers into crypto. We are working with Joseph Schiarizzi on this project, an early Consensys employee and an avid crypto educator + runner of Ethereum hackathons.
🧙♂️ Wizard
Wizard is a Moloch v2 DAO onboarding DApp that helps users easily onboard and pledge funds into the DAO. This was built by Andy from BlockRocket and is currently being used for Venture DAO and Hegic DAO.
📊 iEarn.Finance
iEarn Finance is a swiss army knife of easy to use DeFi tools created by Andre Cronje, an active Ethereum DeFi hacker, and builder. We are looking to work with him to support this future work in the Ethereum ecosystem.
