An anti-phishing security bot for Telegram — designed especially for Crypto communities

We built a security bot to protect our own Telegram community from phishing scams. So we thought other communities might like to install it too. 🎁

We immediately had 25 communities register their interest as soon as we announced this small project on Twitter. The bot does one thing — it silently checks every web link posted to your community group. The second it detects a phishing scam it posts an alert so members don’t end up on the wrong site where they can lose their crypto assets.

It couldn’t be easier to add a bot though, so you shouldn’t need the video— go to your group members and search for MetaCertbot. Then select add. That’s it!

If you’d like to check the safety of links before opening them inside Telegram where MetaCert hasn’t been installed, this bot is for you.

It’s super simple to add. Using the search box, look for MetaCert and add the bot. And while you’re at it, you might as well join our Telegram group which you’ll also find listed.
