MetaCert Email Security — how to earn more Tokens by inviting friends
MetaCert is giving away $600,000 worth of MetaCert Tokens.
You can earn extra Tokens by inviting your friends to try out MetaCert’s anti-phishing security service for email.
MetaCert Email accounts earn 100 Tokens per referral, up to 100,000 Tokens. That’s approximately $1,200 worth of Tokens.
To invite someone from inside the email service:
- Open any email where you have installed MetaCert.
- Tap the MetaCert shield.
- Select “Invite Friends”.
- A new email is opened with suggested copy that you can edit.
Once you’ve sent the referral, the person you referred will need to complete these steps before you both receive bonus Tokens:
- Open the email on a device that is supported by the service.
- Open the referral link and accept the invitation to sign up.
- Setup MetaCert.
Your friends will each receive 100 Tokens when they sign up.
To invite people via Twitter, Telegram or other social media sites:
Follow the steps above and copy your referral link. This can be shared anywhere.
To invite people via your console:
- Sign into; https://secure.metacert.com/account
- Select Invite Friends.
Will I still get credit if my friend signs up using a different email address?
As long as your friend signs up for an account with the referral link in your invitation, you’ll earn MetaCert Tokens. The email address the person you referred uses to sign up doesn’t need to be the same as the email address that you sent the referral invitation to.
If your friend receives referrals from multiple senders, only the sender of the referral link that’s used will earn bonus space.
See the status of invitations you’ve sent for MetaCert Email referrals
To check the status of your referrals:
- Open any email where you have installed MetaCert.
- Tap on MetaCert shield.
- The total number of referrals and Tokens earns will be displayed.
- You can also sign into your console at http://secure.metacert.com/account — this will display a list of the people who successfully signed up for the service.

MetaCert Tokens will soon be used to pay for the service, so the more Tokens you collect the better. The service will be a paid service from February 2019.
Submit suspicious links and earn more Tokens
It will soon be possible to earn Tokens by submitting suspicious links. “Validators” who help us to verify and classify new phishing links will also be rewarded in Tokens. The number of Tokens for this work is not yet published — this is all part of the MetaCert Protocol project and Tokenomics document which will be published in February 2019.
