We have supported a token generation service to make it easy for everyone to create a Metacoin based token. But it was a little complicated process to create a token.
You had to create a wallet in “Wallet.metacoin.network”,fill in some information and get a temporary key on step by step in “IssueToken”.
Then it put the temporary key back into “Wallet.metacoin.network.” Although it was an inevitable choice to take advantage of the rich features when creating tokens in Metacoin,
Most of them used API for various functions and they just used it to generate the simple tokens.
IssueToken has been improved to make it easier and more convenient to create tokens using a web browser based Metacoin wallet.
Here’s how to create a token:
Go to “https://issuetoken.io/"
Click the “Create” button at the top or “Create MTC Token Now” in the center of the screen.
Select the image (logo) to represent the token and
Enter the token name, symbol, total supply, decimal, URL and information, etc.
Click the “Create Token” button.
Confirm the contents of window whether to generate a token in the linked wallet, then click the “Send” button.
The generated tokens will come to your wallet.
The previous website “https://issuetoken.io/" changes to “https://old.issuetoken.io/".
We will support the service until the wallet for Android, IOS is deployed.

메타코인 기반의 토큰을 누구나 쉽게 만들기 위하여 IssueToken(https://issuetoken.io/) 에서 토큰 생성 서비스를 제공해왔습니다. 하지만, 토큰 생성을 위하여 Wallet.metacoin.network 에서 지갑을 만들고, IssueToken 에서 몇 단계에 거쳐 정보를 입력하고, Issuetoken 에서 임시키를 발급받고,다시 Wallet.metacoin.network 에서 Issuetoken 에서 발급받은 임시키를 입력하는 다소 복잡한 방식으로 만들어야 했습니다. 물론, 메타코인에서 토큰을 만들때 제공되는 풍부한 기능을 이용하기 위하여 불가피한 선택이였습니만, 대부분 단순 토큰을 생성하는 용도로 이용하시고, 다양한 기능을 이용할때에는 API를 이용하는것으로 확인되었습니다.
이에, 웹브라우저 기반의 Metacoin wallet 을 이용하여, 메타코인 기반의 토큰을 좀 더 쉽고 편하게 만들 수 있도록 Issuetoken을 개선하였습니다.
토큰을 만드는 방법은 다음과 같습니다 :
먼저, https://issuetoken.io/ 에 접속합니다.
상단 “Create” 버튼 이나 화면 중앙에 있는 “Create MTC Token Now” 를 클릭합니다.
토큰을 대표할 이미지를 선택하고,
토큰 이름, 심볼, 총 발행량, 소수점 자리수 그리고 URL, 정보등을 입력하신뒤,
“Create Token” 버튼을 클릭합니다.
연동된 지갑에서 토큰을 생성할것인지 확인하는 창의 내용을 다시한번 확인하신 뒤 “Send” 버튼을 클릭하면.
생성된 토큰들이 지갑에 들어오게 됩니다.
기존 https://issuetoken.io/ 은 https://old.issuetoken.io/ 로 URL이 변경되며,
Android, IOS용 지갑이 배포되기 전까지 서비스를 제공합니다.
