HOW TO GUIDE: Register your Metamask wallet in Upbit

This post will guide you on how to register your Metamask wallet in Upbit.
As of 25th Marchof this year, the Travel Rule was implemented in earnest, allowing only exchanges or wallets that meet certain conditions to deposit and withdraw money. Therefore, we created this guide to help you on how to authenticate your Metamask personal wallet in Upbit and transfer META.
How to register your wallet address in Upbit
1) Log in to Upbit and click My Page (MY) > Manage Personal Wallet Addresses > Manage
2) Then go to Personal Wallet Address Management > click Address Registration
3) Select Wallet Type > proceed with the connection
* Please pre-install extension programs for registration of personal wallet address (Required)
*How to install Metamask and add the Metadium network can be found HERE.
4) Select Metamask > register Wallet Address
* Currently, Metadium network does not support deposit and withdrawal from Upbit, so you need to register with other networks such as Ethereum.
* When the additional support is available in the future, you can register a wallet with Metadium network through the same process.
* If you have registered Metadium network in your Metamask wallet, you can check the META you withdrew.
5) Enter the wallet name and check the details (wallet address, …), and consent to the use of the personal wallet.
6) Proceed with the 2FA Authentication > KakaoPay Authentication > Wallet Signature Completed
7) Check the registered wallet address in Personal Wallet Address Management

2) 개인지갑 주소 관리 > 주소 등록 선택
3) 지갑종류 선택 > 연결 진행
*개인지갑 주소 등록을 위해 확장프로그램 사전 설치 (필수)
*메타마스크를 신규 설치하고 메타디움 네트워크를 추가하는 방법은 여기에서 확인하실 수 있습니다.
4) 메타마스크 선택 > 지갑 주소 등록
* 현재 메타디움 네트워크는 업비트에서 입출금을 지원하지 않는 네트워크이므로, 이더리움 등 이외 네트워크로 등록을 진행해야 합니다.
* 향후, 추가 지원 시 동일한 프로세스로 메타디움 네트워크가 추가된 지갑을 등록하시면 됩니다.
* 메타마스크에 메타디움 네트워크를 등록하신 경우, 출금한 메타를 확인할 수 있습니다.
5) 주소별명 입력 및 지갑주소 등 상세내용 확인 후, 개인지갑 이용동의
6) 2채널 인증하기 진행 > 카카오 페이 인증 > 지갑 서명 완료
7) 개인지갑 주소 관리에서 등록된 지갑주소 확인
