Cashierless convenience store access service based on Metadium DID solution ‘MyKeepin’ is launched.

You can use a cashierless convenience store without the risk of personal information leakage as you can access it only with the mobile phone authentication using the ‘MyKeepin app’. By doing so, convenience stores can safely operate their stores by eliminating the burden of labor costs and reducing the risk of accidents and losses.

Metadium DID-based cashierless convenience store access service was jointly developed by HP Retail, a cashierless convenience store company, CUBOX, a biometric and access security company, and Coinplug, a blockchain technology company, and this service will be a good example of DID authentication technology by MyKeepin Alliance.

MyKeepin Alliance, which uses metadium DID technology, has introduced a case of commercialization of DID by launching the Busan Blockchain App, which allows Busan citizens to prove their identity when using public services such as libraries and government offices.

Recently, LG U+(Major carrier) and YES24(Online commerce) joined as MyKeepin Alliance partners, and we plan to further expand the use of DID in mobile telecommunication and online commerce.
