Introducing THEPOL service, an online survey/campaign platform based on the Metadium blockchain
THEPOL is an online poll/voting service that allows anonymous participation without storing user identification information based on the Metadium blockchain developed by Coinplug. With the application of blockchain technology, everyone can verify the voting process and results that cannot be manipulated. THEPOL service can be used by companies and organizations to conduct mobile research, public opinion surveys, online voting, and advertising.
With THEPOL, anyone can create and participate in surveys. In addition, META coins, set as rewards by the creators of the surveys, are provided as rewards to users who participated in the survey. The rewarded META coins can be used to purchase products on the in-app store or to participate in donation and sponsorship events.
Since the release of the beta version in April 2020, THEPOL conducted over 420 polls and surveys and 24 campaigns only during the 8-month beta test period, recording a total number of over 550,000 participants. With the steady growth, as of the end of February 2021, more than 100,000 members, and 1.5 million cumulative users participated through about 1,500 polls voting and surveys.
THEPOL conducts surveys such as preference surveys and public awareness surveys, and surveys on domestic and international political, social, and cultural issues every day. In addition, THEPOL has successfully completed a donation campaign conducted with World Vision, an election campaign in collaboration with Maeil Business News and the “Poll in Green” campaign that encourages the environmental protection movement with the Seoul Consumers organization. There is also the launch of FNSurvey, which adds the survey function to a news platform with Financial News.
Through the Metadium blockchain, both companies and individuals can transparently conduct public opinion polls and surveys. Metadium team will continue building the service up and transform our domestic blockchain technology into a global platform.
