Last week we shared a report on our development for the first part of 2019. In this post we want to share with you our plans for the future including partnerships, product development and a new communication strategy.

BUSINESS MODEL
For the past thirteen months, Metadium team focused its energy and attention in the development of core technology and infrastructure products. As we reach milestones around these, the team is shifting gears and moving onto a consumer-centric business model development, which includes, but not limited to, consumer-facing company cooperation and consumer serving self-owned & operated (O&O) services.
Metadium moved from the general approach of a mainnet project (onboarding dApps) to a more specialized business model focusing on identity access management for B2B/B2B2C: DIDaaS (Decentralized Identity as a Service)

Based on our industry analysis and business development efforts, the following sectors are selected to form the Metadium Identity Ecosystem:
Coinplug is a global leader in blockchain patents with 262 patent applications and 98 granted patents up to September 2019. The company focuses on DID, authentication, payment, tokenization and asset management. In 2019 alone, it has obtained six government-backed projects including applications for Korea Postal Services, SKT mobile, the Korea Internet Services Agency (KISA), Korea Southern Power Plant (KOSPO), and Busan City Blockchain De-regulatory Zone.
Coinplug, as our regional business development partner, is continuing its effort to bring blockchain to real world applications using solutions provided by Metadium. Through Coinplug, we are working to develop solutions for the following companies: FHL Game, Galaxia Comms (MONEY TREE), KOSPO, Busan City, Korea Post, Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), and Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP)

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
October, 2019 — Keepin v 1.3
Keepin v 1.3 is scheduled to be released by the end of September, and it will have a major update on one of the crucial features for Metadium DID system, which is ‘Identity Hub’. In addition, you’ll be able to access certain services and use your Meta ID.
October, 2019 — Metadium IAM Unity SDK V 1.0
As previously mentioned, we have been developing Metadium Identity Access Management (IAM) SDK for game developers in partnership with Unity Technologies.
The Metadium team has been working on the alpha version of the Unity SDK for more than five months. It provides user information and rights management along with user authentication and two-factor authentication based on meta identity.
For a successful service launch, we met with industry experts from various game companies and analyzed various blockchain SDKs. After receiving multiple feedback the Metadium team decided to roll out the Alpha Edition on Metadium’s website to share it with the community and launch the Metadium SDK on Asset Store next year to provide comprehensive DIDaaS services.

Changes in Metadium Community’s Communication
To deliver all the updates and announcements in a timely manner, our team has analysed the community’s feedback and decided to add some aspects to the communication management:
- Live AMA: You can submit your questions any time you want and we will answer you once a month in Live AMA. Details about the time of the monthly AMA will be announced a week before via SNS channels.
*Please note that some questions might be subject to NDAs and can’t be answered during AMA sessions.This includes but is not limited to listings, partnerships, agreements, etc.
- Newsletters: Project progress and changes will be shared monthly and and the direction of the project’s larger framework will be shared through quarterly posts.
- Social media: As usual we will post company announcements in our social media channels (FB, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram)
We will analyze the results of this new policy and make changes if necessary. Please note that we operate in the Korean Standard Time Zone, so the communication will proceed during the working hours from 9:00AM to 6:00PM from Monday to Friday.
