Highlights of Cabanatuan Axie Community Meetup 2022
On October 22, 2022, a huge number of professional players, P2E gamers, guilds and content creators convened at the Axie epicenter of the Philippines, at Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija. This full day event was dubbed to be the country’s “LARGEST Axie Infinity LAN Tournament” and “the FIRST Axie Esports Grand Event”.
Everyone in the GameFi industry was so hyped to attend this event and it sure did not disappoint! The Cabanatuan Axie Community Meet Up [#Cabsycon] was a BLAST! The event was graced by 256 players competing for 3030 AXS prize pool, 84 guilds and countless attendees. Of course, our team at MetaGaming Guild (MGG) would not want to miss an IRL event like this!
Four of our team members proudly attended the Cabanatuan Axie Community Meetup. Grateful for the active involvement of our Game Trainer Ador, Community Managers Aiza and Russ and one of our most prolific scholars Ronnie, the team at MGG made a lasting impression and strategic networking on this event.
Highlights of the event included meet and greet with players and guilds, engaging rounds of panel discussions with Axie content creators and gaming enthusiasts and of course, the biggest Axie tournament.

Kudos to the organizers of the event ~ Axie Infinity and Blockchain Space, the Cabanatuan Axie Community Meetup made another milestone in solidifying the gaming community in the country.
