Current network state

Guys, right now some Cores are running slower than recommended (mostly in terms of bandwidth). It leads to synchronization conflicts and can cause a network outage.

This forced interruption gave us an opportunity to tune the synchronization algorithm and implement updates to prepare the network for potential extreme loads.

It is very important that the network can handle all the load. Cores should be added by any user with any device from any part of the planet. We are going to make the network work even if access to an entire continent is temporarily lost.

That’s why this instability will benefit the system, that’s why we do not overstate the hardware requirements for testing.

Right now, we’re trying to:

- reduce the network’s self-recovery time;

- improve the testing algorithm to make the network even faster.

We plan to implement a part of the updates today. Please note that all data and funds are safe. Transactions may not be available temporarily, there may be delays in the appearance of the blocks. With the introduction of updates, these problems will be resolved.

We try to renew the network by the end of May, to make the system stable before the voting for changes is launched.

Please give us some time to monitor the platform and develop the changes.

Thank you for understanding!

P.S. The Cores’ update is already available on GitHub. Update them right now :)
