Friends, all recent weeks the #MetaHash team has been working hard to correct the Cores synchronization error. We will deal with this problem in the nearest future.
The recent incident with block generation has shown why it is important to correct inaccuracies in Cores code before they are fully released, rewarded, and decentralized. After all, in the future network inactivity is unacceptable even for a few minutes.
Meanwhile, there is a solution to such a problem. The TraceChain protocol has a unique ability to self-recover. This feature will reduce the time for troubleshooting (more details can be found on page 10 of the YellowPaper). Of course, it should be further developed, but the groundwork is already done!
Now, the work on Сores does not stop for a day. But before the new version of the main role is published, we have to debug the interaction between Torrents and Cores. That’s why we have asked users to suspend Cores testing for a while, to avoid wasting resources.
Soon, when the updated code will be published, we will announce the last step of testing aimed to introduce awards and, eventually, decentralization.
