#MetaVote has been available to the entire community for a week! Have you used a chance to launch your own voting? :)

To optimize the app, last week we released a small #MetaGate update. If you have any problems after upgrading, contact us via support@metahash.org or the Telegram chats.

As we’ve mentioned before, voting integration presumes two stages. We are in the first phase: a “light” version of voting (that is already available) is a kind of testing of new functional and community interest. The second step is upgrading the functionality to the alpha-version, which will improve the user interface, auto-update and protection for software updates.

As a reminder, to offer a software update, you need a ready-made code. If the update reaches the required 50,000,000 #MHC, it becomes mandatory for everyone. Needless to say, technicians will review the code carefully. And don’t forget that the internal team can vote and initiate polls too :)

Some of you are wondering if the team will consider the “referendum” questions. Since voting is the best way to update the software and unite the community, we are sure to check and comment on suggestions with more than 50 million votes.

However, less popular suggestions may also be taken on board (if we consider them really important for the platform). In such cases, the team tests the code and re-puts the update on voting on its own behalf. While the team’s polls look like users’ polls, in the future special checkmarks to indicate major votes may appear.

As for censorship, it is not technically possible. Nevertheless, if the mechanism is abused, we reserve the right to hide such “dirty” votes. But the information will remain in the blockchain, so every user can find it.

Let’s use the service wisely and grow the project together! Waiting for your ideas on #MetaVote pages!
