Today receiving and processing feedback are one of the most important tools when working with the community, both in business and in public life. It does not matter in what sphere and on what scale the poll of audience is conducted — if the initiators value the community opinion and their own reputation, they are definitely interested in ensuring the availability, the clarity of the counting system and the verifiability of the results. Only under such conditions, the fairness of the chosen option will not be in doubt.

The importance of fast obtaining an accurate opinion from the community cannot be overstated. From the voice of the audience can depend on many things: changing game mechanics, determining winners in contests/reality shows, further developing the brand’s product line, quality research from analytical agencies and much more. Many organizations collect NPS, the loyalty index of users to assess their willingness to recommend the product, exactly in the format of poll. In self-government, whether they are trade unions, various partnerships or public councils, voting is the main decision-making tool.

Reliability of data storage required for polls or voting and the impossibility of results misrepresentation are one of blockchain key features. So, how will blockchain work in polls? Imagine that the election organizers will create digital “wallets” for each voting option. Every voter will have one electronic token or coin, which he can give for one of the options. Users vote anonymously through their virtual accounts, sending their “coin”. The blockchain system commits and confirms all transactions. The result is determined by the number of given coins and it’s fully transparent.

Some countries have already implied this solution even in a political sphere. For example, an Australian organization called “Neutral voting blocs” already uses voting based on the blockchain. The founder of the organization Mex Kay describes the NVB as an app where interested citizens can pin their opinions on various policy issues. When the time comes to decide certain questions, the elected politicians are guided by the opinion of their citizens, collected with the help of blockchain.

#MetaHash has developed its own system and launched in testing mode #Metavote app created for different opinion poll among the community participants. #MetaVote runs on blockchain and ensures the reliability of voting by recording every voting wallet in history, that is open and accessible to all community.

While the application is planned to be used for making key decisions on network development and self-regulation, which will lead to stable operation and improvement of the system. All changes, whether the cancellation of a block or fundamental updates of the system are fully regulated by #MHC owners. They determine the vector of development of the project, initiating, accepting or rejecting changes. For example, by voting the community may decide to reduce the commission in order to attract application developers. Perhaps, in the future, larger votings will also be based on Tracechain protocols.

As you can see, technologies developed by the #MetaHash team can find the widest application — whether it is collecting and processing public opinion, voting for a favorite participant of the show or choosing a policy, — the transparency and reliability of data collection based on them will remain constant.
