Problem & Solution, Part 5. Increasing transaction confirmation rate

As you remember, a few days ago we’ve already discussed such an important problem as the insufficient amount of transactions per day, and the solutions offered by the #MetaHash team. Unfortunately, there are other difficulties connected with it, which represent the obstacles to the further technological development of mankind. For example, the speed of confirmation of each individual transaction by the system should be increased.

Why do we think this is so important? The more time a transaction takes, the less usable the system becomes what creates difficulties for the decentralized applications. The permissible number of transactions is not just a beautiful figure (by the way, 1 node of the network #MetaHash is capable to process more than 100,000 transactions per second!). High bandwidth allows the network to keep transaction prices low because a similar amount of resources can confirm more transactions in the same time. Lower the price for a transaction, more potential customers will be interested in using it to store their financial transfers and technical data.

Increasing the speed of the transaction influences the ability to implement the technology in everyday life, which allows it to be applied everywhere, without a colossal waste of enormous resources. When existing blockchain projects require 30 seconds for the first confirmation and 1.5 minutes for the final one, the #MetaHash system takes only 1 second for the first confirmation and 3 seconds for the final one for most transactions. Just imagine what prospects it opens!
