Data Safety and Challenge
With the development from Web 1.0–2.0, people have to admit that they are enjoying the high speed, convenience, intelligence, and other benefits brought by the Internet, shuttling through different websites, browsing the latest information in the world, and publishing our happiest moment. It is no exaggeration to say that if people leave the Internet, they become isolated.
But people seem to have overlooked that they have unfolded their personal privacy. When it is annoying to spam messages on the mobile, when the mood is affected by a harassing call, it proves that there is no privacy.
2020 review:
On April 24, in the United States, Facebook pleaded a fine of US$5 billion to a settlement agreement on user privacy issues with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
On March 31, the information of approximately 5.2 million Marriott International customers may have been leaked. This is the second large-scale data breach of Marriott in less than two years.
On October 17, the British privacy regulator issued the largest fine in its history. British Airways PLC (BAY.LN) was fined 20 million pounds for a data breach that affected more than 400,000 customers in 2018. (Approximately US$25.8 million).
The leakage of data privacy is fundamental that most of the user’s data is monopolized and controlled by a few giant companies. They put different labels on user attributes and use it to realize profit.

Therefore, blockchain technology can unlock the value of data.
