Metamorph — An Introduction
A metamorph is an organism that goes through the process of metamorphosis. Metamorphosis refers to the profound physical change in the life span of an organism, from one stage to the next, as from the caterpillar, to the pupa, and finally its transformation into the adult butterfly.
So who are we? And what does the metamorphosis of insects have to do with us?
We are a User Experience and App Development Firm, and we’d like to think of ourselves as facilitators of the metamorphosis that is the user experience and app development process.
Yes, we do think that the process of user experience and app development is a form of metamorphosis. Similar to how a caterpillar isn’t able to magically turn into a butterfly without going through the stages of metamorphosis, the development of great user experiences and applications requires more than just magic. There is a process to be followed, and here at Metamorph, we do just that. We morph ideas into great experiences.
Our Mission and Vision
We are based in the Sultanate of Oman, and our mission and vision are shaped by Oman’s environment.
Our vision is to create a cultural shift towards trusting and nurturing local talent, and moving away from outsourcing app development to foreign companies and being reliant on that, as these companies may not appreciate the nuances and complexities of the culture they build for.
Our mission consists of cultivating the development talent in Oman and the region, and empowering SMEs who are looking to build tech and experiences that cater to their specific needs.
