Detecting and treating COVID is complex and multifaceted.

Effectively treating the pandemic requires advanced technologies and operations to ensure the public health’s safety.

However, at HLTH I.D we’re firm believers that big data, AI, and consumer technologies will be at the forefront of moving beyond COVID and managing future pandemic risks and preparedness — which is why we set forth to develop an app that allows you to detect, trace and provide proof of a negative test or vaccination for COVID.

By using the HLTH I.D app, you’ll know in real-time who is sick, who’s at risk, and your surroundings risk level, all while performing live contact tracing.

Using Remote Photoplethysmography (rPPG) technology, all you have to do is look at the camera, and your oxygen saturation levels are detected, as are your respiration and heart rate. A medical-grade symptoms detector gives opportunity for self-reporting, while contact tracing lets you know in real-time if you are or have been near anyone infected. If you have a negative test result or have been vaccinated HLTH I.D allows you to share proofs of this in a privacy preserving way.

As an app-based technology that collects your health data in real-time, it’s our top priority to protect your data. Your security is our absolute top priority, and I’m excited to discuss how our unique blockchain technology is putting your health security back in your hands.

Blockchain Protected Privacy

The entire HLTH I.D system is based on blockchain technology to securely protect your data through censorship resistance, or the inability to change data once entered into a system. Once data is recorded into the system, it can’t be tampered with or manipulated which results in secure reliable information. All access grants to the data are stored on the blockchain providing a robust and reliable audit trail. Additionally smart contracts are used to grant access preventing unauthorized third parties from accessing your data or authorized parties using it in ways to which you do not consent.

Blockchain logistics is used to isolate your data into discrete datasets called mPods. It is also used to verify that information entered is correct, giving us a high degree of accurate data.

We can look at each mPod in HLTH I.D as an “envelope” with access rights, or “keys” to specific pieces of information. With our blockchain this “envelope” containing the keys to your data is always stored under your control. Unlike physical mail, your information does not travel to third parties, only the permissions (keys) to view it do through secure channels, so your data always stays in your own storage under your control. You can grant or revoke access as and when you want by “immutably enforceable” smart contracts that cannot be changed or worked around.

In addition the “envelope” our blockchain system creates, only contains keys to the minimum information needed for the context in which you are sharing your data, providing a critical additional layer of security. For example if you need to provide proof of vaccination to watch a football game you do not need to provide your name, address or age. If on the other hand you want to share information with your doctor you might need to. Our “envelope” is like a secure case with a key required to open it, where only those authorized have access to the key. When the envelope is closed and sealed, the keys to your data are encrypted and only those who are granted access to it will be able to decrypt the keys to access your specifically defined minimum dataset.

Come Together With HLTH I.D.

The technology behind HLTH I.D is advanced, but its interface is simple.

HLTH I.D. stands out from other health monitoring applications because it is end-to-end. It starts with assessing our preconditions and medical history and then assesses our health, and the risks to our health from those around us, in real-time.

Businesses and schools need to go back into operation, while also knowing their infection risk is minimized and their data security is optimized.

The bottom line is that everyone will feel better about providing essential services while ensuring the health and freedom of privacy for their community.
