Following a series of successful Open Alpha Summer Tournaments, the Metastrike Tournament promises an extraordinary experience.
The participation of two Esport pro teams from Vietnam adds a competitive edge to the event.
The tournament will feature an introduction of the participating teams, creating an atmosphere similar to that of an actual Esport tournament.
Participants can engage in a big prediction game and win amazing prizes.
All matches will be live-streamed, with live commentary for the final match.
Various mini-games for the community offer opportunities to win great prizes.

Prize Pool:

Tournament Format:

Participation: 16–25 teams will compete in intense matches.
Tournament Format: Qualifying rounds, playoffs, and a final match structure.
Group Division: Teams divided into four groups — A, B, C, and D.
Point System: The winning team will receive 1 point, and the losing team gets 0 points (In case 2 or more Teams are equal, the difference is taken as the basis for ranking)
Match Formats: Bo2 for Qualifying Round, Bo5 for Playoffs and Final.
Game modes: Team Deathmatch (Bo2), Conquest (Bo5) with side-switching.

Registration: July 15– August 22, 2023

Tournament Requirements:

Minimum team size: 5 members.

Adherence to the provided schedule is mandatory for all teams.

Rules and Mechanics:

A. Match Rules

To ensure fair and competitive gameplay, the Metastrike Tournament has specific match rules that all participants must adhere to. Please refer to the image below for a comprehensive overview of the match rules. 📜

B. In-game rules

Timeouts: Each team has four timeouts per game, lasting for 1 minute each. Timeouts can be used for strategy discussions, adjustments, or breaks.
Absences: If a team member is absent during a match, they will be timed out for 2 minutes. If the member still doesn’t join, the match will continue.
Punctuality: All team members must be present and prepared 15 minutes before the scheduled match time. If there is a delay, the match will wait for a minimum of 5 minutes. After that, if the team is still absent, the match will be canceled, and the opposing team will be declared the winner. If the team miss any member, the match still continue.
Confirmation: Teams must confirm their participation 12 hours before the match. Failure to confirm may result in match cancellation and a win awarded to the opposing team.
Fair Play: Match-fixing and cheating are strictly prohibited. Offenders can face severe penalties, including suspension or expulsion from the tournament, and even permanent bans.

Note: Cheating in Metastrike tournament matches or outside of the game is not tolerated. The organizers have the right to take action against any player or team found guilty of cheating, including barring them from specific leagues or all leagues.
