Metaverse CSR — A Visit to Shanghai Aihao Rehabilitation Center for Children with Autism
Metaverse staff visited Shanghai Aihao Rehabilitation Center for Children with Autism as one of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) volunteer activities on April 26, 2018. This visit was actually a follow up from Metaverse Go-Live’s First Annviersary on Feb 11, when Metaverse launched an online charitable event to raise money for children with Autism.
About 1 in 88 children are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Children who are diagnosed with autism or other types of ASD struggle with social relationships, sensory awareness, communication, and behavioral challenges.
Metaverse is actively commited to social responsibility. Last October, Metaverse visited Shanghai Children’s Medical Center (SCMC) to care for orphans and help with postoperative rehabilitation activities.
