Metaverse DNA Concludes A Successful Bounty for Blockchain Community Engagement with $12,000 in prizes and 850 participants

Bounty programs have for DNA been an integral part of developing its engaged online community. Since early 2016 when the ICO boom launched, many new blockchain startups looking to grow their networks have participated in bounty programs. Different from the “bug bounties” offered by tech companies globally, a bounty program in crypto is an offer made by a blockchain-based startup to incentivize its users to perform various tasks to promote and improve their product. There are lots and lots of bounty programs out there, Metaverse DNA stands out.

Metaverse launched at the end of 2019 its Dualchain Network Architecture, DNA, a next-generation secure, scalable, decentralized and interoperable dual chain protocol. To raise awareness to this revolutionary new technology, DNA hosted a 3 months bounty.

The program included an exciting range of activities that participants completed ranging from social media promotion, content creation and even a local ambassador program. A total of $12,000 in DNA native-tokens were distributed as rewards to over 850 participants that took part in the program.

Social Media Promotion

For the DNA Social Media Bounty, we focussed on growing our Twitter and Facebook following and asked participants to help us spread the word by doing the following activities:

• Follow our pages
• Comment and share the posts they liked the most
• Share DNA content on blockchain & crypto groups

Content Creation

In this part of the campaign, participants were asked to create a unique video or article reviewing Metaverse DNA, and share it on social channels. The more views and engagement their content received, the more rewards participants gained. A total of 275 participants took part in this campaign and submitted videos and articles.

This has been a success in terms of online presence for DNA, as we now total 24,200 results on Google and have community-generated content on major outlets like Reddit, Youtube, Medium and other crypto-focused publications.

Product Trials

A bounty campaign it’s also a great opportunity for testing out the exposure of DNA on social platforms and get feedback from the community. By asking users to try a new functionality in Metaverse native wallet, My ETP Wallet. The feature called “Avatars” allows users to create a personalized name for their cryptocurrency address, making it much easier to share and to remember. This enabled Metaverse to get real-time testing of the functionality and increase online awareness about the new product — bringing the total amount of Avatars created on Metaverse to 3,244.

Ambassador Program

Our global ambassador program was a successful initiative, where we invited blockchain enthusiasts around the world to become a Metaverse DNA ambassador in their regions. We have received over 50 applications from many countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, Philippines, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt and more — from experienced event organizers to community managers who were eager to host an event in their city. We carefully selected 8 meetups (1/week) with 25 to 100 participants that were sponsored by DNA.

At the end of the campaign, over 600 participants who have complied with all bounty rules, have received awards in the form of DNA native cryptocurrency. DNA bounty programs are a great tool for promotion maximizing token utility. Distributing the DNA token in the hands of people who care about the project. By being a bounty hunter and getting involved with DNA for three months, users are now familiar with the project and the team, welcoming them as long-term adopters of DNA.
