Metaverse Dualchain Debuts in Toronto
On June 14th, Metaverse, along with Yesbit and Bitcoin Bay, a renowned Toronto blockchain community, hosted an offline meetup with the theme “Interoperability and Decentralization.” Metaverse Foundation CEO Eric Gu along with the Metaverse Toronto team partook in discussions with developers, enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs centered around this topic.
During the presentation, Eric talked about the interoperability and decentralization issues facing many public blockchains and possible solutions to these problems. He introduced the Metaverse Dualchain Network Architecture (DNA), which is composed of building a fast parallel chain with the DNA token that can quickly process transactions while maintaining the security and reliability of the original ETP chain. This will solve scalability issues and allow for asset mapping among BTC, ERC20, EOS, and other main chains, therefore solving the interoperability problem. Eric also mentioned that Metaverse will develop a decentralized exchange and deploy a three-layered governance system to form the underlying infrastructure of the Metaverse Dualchain. Eric and the Metaverse team had insightful discussions with the audience about the Metaverse Dualchain solution and the technicalities associated with DNA. It was certainly an engaging meetup!
The Metaverse Dualchain testnet will launch in December later this year.
