Technical Developments
Explorer
- Added transaction history display to the Avatar page
- Updated the mining pool status to reflect the last 3000 blocks (~24 hours) instead of the last 1000
Lightwallet
- Fixed the iOS app’s input field border color
- Adjusted the iOS app’s alert width
Other
- Tested and improved the asset exchange service; added transaction fee functionality and reprocessing logic for completed transactions
- Completed the front-end summary report, date statistics and query address; completed the asset transaction record function
- Fixed the asset exchange unit conversion, secondary issuance and fees settlement; fixed the capitalization problem with contract matching and solved issues with obtaining total ETP assets under a certain account
- Expanded transaction fee statistics and front-end display capabilities
- Programed the ETH→ETP/ETP→ETH transaction auto-send script to stress test the system
- Improved the function for collecting trading volume by date
- Measured the compression effect of the XZ tool for short messages
- Increased the query function by page with the Listdids command
Marketing Updates
— Metaverse had the chance to participate in the Finwise Summit Hong Kong on August 10th and 11th. This was a fantastic opportunity for our team to discuss the future of blockchain and share our vision of the New Reality with burgeoning blockchain projects and traditional financial industry leaders alike.
— We were excited this week to publish the second installment in our three-part SuperNova Solution Series. The series describes the features of SuperNova and what makes them so valuable and unique, and this second article focuses on the importance of Metaverse Digital Identity (Avatar). Make sure to look out for SuperNova Solutions Series Part 3!
— Beginning with v0.4.1 of MyETPWallet, users can now add plugins on the testnet. We encourage users to add trusted third party plugins, and to create their own to share with others. To make the creation of plugins as easy as possible, we designed a CLI tool that helps users get started. In a new Metaverse Explained article, Metaverse developer Sven Mutzl describes how to utilize this tool.
— We are excited to announce that top cryptocurrency exchange CoinSuper is now listing ETP, with trading to begin soon.
— Eric Gu, Metaverse founder and CEO, published a piece in which he gives personal insight into data privacy, the future of blockchain and more. Check it out!
— Blockchain news and education platform Chainbits published an overview of Metaverse and ETP.
— Blockchain and cryptocurrency news source Coinspeaker published “China’s Top Public Blockchain Projects Race for Best Digital Identity Solution,” an article which discusses decentralized identity layers on blockchain and notes Metaverse as a digital identity pioneer.
