A much needed uptrend in volume today as we closed over $127 million, a 60% increase over yesterdays number. A mostly red day on floors across the board with Tubby Cats (.89E, 5.6k Eth vol) shouldering much of the volume load, bringing some much-needed life to the marketplace.

The current Land/Metaverse trend also continues to play out as Webbland (3.3E, +30%), Metroverse (1.83E, +3%), TreeVerse (1.55E, +30%), BYOLands (1.59E, +47%), Turf Plots (.78E, +77%) and MultiverseVM all tried to do their best NFT World impressions.

Another volume pullback today as we closed at $103 million, over a 20% decline from yesterday’s number. Still, plenty to be had on the marketplace as high profile mints and reveals have paved the way for degen action. 3Landers (5.6k ETH vol, 1.68E) led the way with a massive day of volume, while other newcomers StarCatchers (2.5k ETH vol, .7E) and Tubby Cats (1750E vol, .6E) also helped carry to volume load.

Critterz (2.54E, +38%), The Other Side (.39E, +20%) and Full Send Metacards (1.38E, +11%) all had solid green days, as did The Heart Project (.34E, +26%), Adam Bomb Squad (.66E, +13%) and Metroverse (2.25E, +23%).

Today was a good day for taking a step back and keeping things in perspective as the world watched the events unfold in Ukraine. Thoughts are with anyone effected by the situation and wanted to reiterate that we are all here to help and support each other. Don’t ever be shy about reaching out whenever its needed.

A slight pop in marketplace volume today as we ended at $118 million, a 15% gain from yesterday’s number. A largely red day across the board as the freshly minted Invisible Friends led the with a whopping 8780E in transactions. Tubby Cats (.56E, 4439E vol) and 3Landers (1.34E, 1938E vol) once again rounded out the top of the volume leaderboard.

The marketplace was steady with action for most of the day until news of the conflict in Ukraine started to circulate. Almost immediately all floors across the board started to drop. We can take our pick across the majority of the NFT landscape that finished deep in the red today but BAYC (80E, -10%), Azuki (9.4E, -22%), NFT Worlds (10.75E, -26%), Karafaru (2.1E, -26%) and CloneX (11E, -14%) were just some of the notable names to see a substantial dip.

The team also held a charity auction prior and saw the coveted “Golden Friend” 1/1 piece sell for 496.69E. OpenSea volume closed at $116 million today, a slight increase over yesterday and continued a trend of alternating red/green days for the fifth day in a row. Marketplace action centered around the Howlerz (1.06E, 3.4k vol) mint and Starcatchers (.75E, 1950 vol) reveal, with both projects garnering most of the attention on the day.

It was a nice green day across the board as many projects continues to see solid floor gains from the lows of a few days ago. 3Landers (2.38E, +77%), Azuki (12.35E, +24%), CloneX (13.99E, +22%) DeadFellaz (2.94E, +24%) and Karafaru (2.92E, +26%) all had strong showings. Degen Toonz (.48E, +53%), Cold Blooded Creepz (2.8E, +45%) and NFT Worlds (17.5E, +40%) all had nice bounces as well.

Weekend Recap, 2/26–2/27

It was a low volume weekend as we failed to eclipse the $90 million mark on either day, while continuing an unusual trend of 7 straight alternating red/green days. A couple hyped reveals with Invisible Friends and Howlerz helped keep some momentum alive in the marketplace. Dented Feels (.39E, +75%), Cryptorayrays (.14E, +86%), Neo Tokyo Outer Identities (2.9E, +20%) and Quirkies (.59E, +18%) all had nice weekend showings.

• Mobland (formerly Syn City) launched their ARG 3 midday Sunday, allocating 30 spots to those that were able to solve the trail of clues and enter their answers successfully. MVHQ went to work quickly and solved the puzzle in just over 2 hours. No NFTs were minted as each winner has reserved their spot and will wait for the rest of the ARG’s to roll out. No details have been announced regarding the next one.
